OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
First and foremost, treat the other members as you'd like to be treated! This means no fighting, flame wars, name calling, or taking real life drama onto the site. That's your problem. When signing up please keep all the letters in your name capitalized and use only the character's first and last names. Only the staff members have a special main account (this is for member grouping reasons). While on the topic of staff, do not beg to become one! People that show they are active and mature will receive such an honor, though we may hold a staff audition every now and then. Other than that, I expect you can control yourselves. Understood? Or I'll find you...
C-BOX RULES
All of the out of character rules apply here, too. You may of noticed that some members have avatars beside their name in the c-box. Well, anyone can do this! The picture you decide to use must be 45 x 45. Now, take the picture URL and paste it in the box beside your display name. Next time you post the avatar will show up. Also, no flooding; we don't swim very well! (AKA, no more than three or four posts in a row.) Keep swearing to a minimum.
HUH? TOKENS?
'Tokens' are the DT currency and can be used to purchase special things from the store. Each post you make earns you 3 tokens. Sometimes we'll hold contests in the updates board that are worth tokens, so keep your eyes peeled. Also, if you enjoy making graphics head on over to the classifieds board to sell 'em.
IN CHARACTER RULES
Please, please, please, remember to keep all in character posts at the minimum of two hundred (200) words each. If you fail to abide this rule we'll have to ask you to take some time and improve your role-playing skills. Also keep in mind that proper spelling and grammar is a must. I think we all know that power playing is a no-no. Example,
Wrong: Bob grabbed Jake's wrist and snapped the bone. Right: Bob aimed his grasp at Jake's wrist.
But this doesn't mean that you can dodge every attack, either. Usually every second move is a hit. No killing other characters without their permission first- unless it has been decided otherwise. In order to follow Proboard's rules, keep the romance scenes mild. Oh, and we're not going to have guys baging up every second girl, got it? Especially when it's a vampire/human cross or some other mutant child. Talking about rare, the same thing goes for werewolves; there shouldn't be too many of these! After all, Cauis whiped most of them out centuries ago. Characters that are alcholics or drug abusers are allowable, but I beg you, overall fuck ups just get on my nerves. Same goes for Mary Sues or Gary Stus. Not that hard, guys!
